Search

Once your application is received, our recruiting team will review your application to see if you meet all basic and some preferred qualifications listed on the job description. 1. Initial phone screen (45 minutes) 📞
The first step in your journey with us is a 45-minute phone screen with Guillaume or Myriam. This conversation helps us get to know your background better and provides an opportunity for you to ask any preliminary questions about the role, our team, or our company. You can also expect to discuss your experiences and career aspirations.
2. Take-home case study (≈ 2h30) 📝
If you successfully pass the initial phone screen, we will provide you with a take-home case study relevant to your role. Depending on the position, the case study can take between 45min and 2h30 to complete this task. This exercise helps us gauge your technical skills, and approach to real challenges that you might encounter on the job.
3. Technical interview (≈ 1h30) 👥
This 1 to 2-hour session (depending on the role) dives deep into your technical proficiency and knowledge in the domain. You will meet 2 of our senior experts in this step. They often discuss with you about the case study you’ve prepared. Expect to answer questions that test your expertise and resolve problems. They also keep some time in the end to answer your questions about tech, organization or specifics of the role.
4. Cultural fit interview (45 minutes) 🤩
Your next step will be a 45-minute interview focused on cultural fit. Usually, you meet a Director from another team and one Kilner. We're not just looking for skilled professionals; we're seeking individuals who resonate with our
values. During this session, you'll discuss your alignment with our company culture. We’ll also check if you will be fulfilled professionally, working within Kiln. At the end, you can ask any questions to your interlocutors.
5. Meeting with co-founder (30 minutes) ✅
You’re almost there! At this stage, you'll have a 30-minute meeting with our founder Laszlo. This is an excellent chance for both parties to ensure that this is the right fit at the highest level. The co-founder will assess your motivation, and how your vision aligns with the company's goals and aspirations. You can ask any questions, for instance about Kiln’s future.
6. Offer 🤝
Congratulations! If you've made it through all these stages, it means we see you as a strong fit for our team. You'll first receive an oral job offer, followed by a written one outlining your compensation, benefits, and any other details pertinent to your employment. We are usually making a double or triple offer, and you are choosing which salary/shares package you prefer.
