We are excited to announce that Kiln has joined the BitGo partner network to provide enterprise-grade staking services for ETH, NEAR, SOL, DOT, MATIC, AVAX, ADA, and SUI to BitGo's 1500+ institutional clients.

This partnership enables BitGo's clients to participate in the security of these PoS blockchains and earn staking rewards for doing so. Additionally, more protocols are planned to be added in the future, including emerging ones, to expand investment opportunities.

BitGo is a leading provides regulated custody, financial services, and core infrastructure for investors and builders alike. They only work with the best partners to ensure excellence in the services they provide, such as Kiln to meet their growing demand for staking while splitting the risks between different validators.

Our proven track record and excellent performance led us to pass BitGo's rigorous technical team audits, making us one of their official staking providers.

The staking opportunity

Staking cryptocurrencies involves locking native tokens within a Proof-of-Stake blockchain to earn the right to participate in its security for a given period.

BitGo's top priority is to create easy-to-use, enterprise-grade solutions with the highest level of security. In partnership with Kiln, Bitgo is now offering a native staking solution that allows users to earn rewards while contributing to the decentralization of the network.

It is the most natural reward feature in crypto, as the value derives from the blockchain native currency inflation and a share of transaction fees. For those reasons, more and more institutions are choosing to stake their assets and put their treasuries to work.

Why staking with Bitgo and Kiln?

With this partnership, users will benefit from Kiln's enterprise-grade staking services combined with BitGo's ease of use and best-in-class protection.

Kiln is non-custodial, never having access to users’ funds. We offer industry-leading SLAs and are SOC2 (Type1) certified, meeting the highest IT security standards.

BitGo stores customers' keys in cold storage, and is guarded by a bank-grade vault. They are also regulated as a qualified custodian in the US, Switzerland, and Germany.

How does it work?

Staking at BitGo is as simple as clicking a button. Users can start earning rewards immediately from their Bitgo workspace and monitor all their staked assets from a unified view. They can delegate with confidence, knowing that their funds are protected, and uptime is maximized to generate the most rewards possible, thanks to Kiln's infrastructure.

BitGo’s product issues the delegation transaction to a default validator, which may be Kiln, or other operators, unless a specific request is made.

1/ Log in to your BitGo account

2/ Select the asset you want to stake by creating a wallet

3/ Choose the amount you want to stake

4/ Click on the “Stake” button and that's it!

5/ Visualize your rewards immediately after your delegation is confirmed on the blockchain through your Bitgo dashboard
