1-click restaking and AVS delegation now publicly available through Kiln dApp

We are thrilled to introduce the release of our native 1-click EigenLayer restaking feature.

As of today, anyone can use the Kiln dApp to effortlessly stake and delegate LSTs or batches of 32 ETH with just one click, and begin earning EigenLayer restaked points. There's no need for account creation or setup—just connect your wallet and get started.

With the recent mainnet launch of EigenLayer, Kiln users now have the option to delegate to the Kiln operator, which is running all major Actively Validated Services (AVS). By opting for Kiln’s AVSs strategy, Kiln dApp users benefit from more intuitive restaking portfolio management.

What is restaking, and why should you restake now?

Restaking refers to the concept of using existing PoS security, such as Ethereum validators, to secure additional applications, which are called AVSs. As an incentive to provide this additional work, validators are rewarded with additional (re)staking rewards.

The main benefit to restaking is the increase in the economic utility of your staked position. Your ETH is used to secure other applications, chains and services that require a form of consensus. This helps strengthen the ecosystem while collecting EigenLayer points.

Why choose Kiln dApp for restaking?

Kiln dApp is your one-stop shop for securely staking and restaking ETH, and soon a wide range of dPoS protocols, making it the ideal platform to aggregate all your staking positions in a single interface. As of today, it makes restaking effortless, taking less than a minute.

  1. Everything happens on the Kiln dApp. No need to navigate different interfaces to restake, delegate, and unstake.
  1. Permissionless and non-custodial access: Simply connect your wallet, and you're good to go!
  1. Lowest fees in the market: Earn Eigenlayer points when you restake, with no fees involved. Kiln restaking flow includes all mainnet AVSs.
  1. Enterprise-grade staking infrastructure: As the largest independent node operator with 4% of the total ETH staked and zero slashing events, you can trust us for reliable staking infrastructure. Moreover, we've been offering restaking services to our institutional customers since January.

How to restake?

Here’s a 30-seconds demo video showing how to do it:

  1. Connect your wallet
  2. Click on restake which:
    1. Creates your EigenPod that manages your validator balance and withdrawal status
    2. Deposits your new ETH validators, setting the validator withdrawal credentials to your EigenPod
  3. You review and accept this transaction.
  4. That’s it! You have restaked, and once your deposit is processed, you will be earning EigenLayer Restaked Points.

What happens behind the scenes?

Note: when restaking, you need to deposit ETH. This means that if you have already staked, you will need to unstake your validator and then re-stake. The reason for this is that restaking requires setting the withdrawal credentials of your Ethereum validator to your Eigenpod, and changing withdrawal credentials on an existing validator is not possible.

Looking ahead: What if I lack 32 ETH or have no knowledge of AVSs?

In the coming months, we will be enabling EigenLayer for Kiln On-Chain Staking Pool customers. This integration will allow users to restake any amount without the 32 ETH minimum threshold, thereby democratizing restaking access.

Our product team and protocol specialists have meticulously evaluated each project, even interviewing their founders for our podcast, “Kiln Rendez-Vous Eigenlayer AVS Edition.” Dive into our latest episodes for a comprehensive understanding of the EigenLayer restaking ecosystem. Rest assured, we'll handpick the best AVS projects for you.

Integrate Kiln Restaking-as-a-Service
