SkillZ was born in 2018 and spun out of Skill Hunter, the technical recruiting firm I founded. Initially, we aimed to develop a certification protocol for professional experiences on the Ethereum blockchain.
We pivoted from this idea and since 2020 have been focusing on powering the web3 industry through our institutional staking platform. We believe staking is the most natural yield in crypto, and we enable businesses to stake directly, or to white-label staking functionality into their products. Serving our clients, we will continue building staking products on top of our APIs.
Kilns have been used for millennia to make objects and tools - we hope to play a similar foundational role in the new Internet by helping power blockchains.
We are now a team of 25 wonderful humans based in France/Paris, London and Amsterdam, our platform is live on 10 protocols with $800M stake under management... and we’re just getting started.
